In Kerala,  Tourism is a major source of revenue and our Government is taking all the right steps to bring in tourists from across the country with budget in their minds.

The campaign called Jet2Kerala is a partnership with Jet Airways and Kerala Tourism Department and they have created new travel packages for travellers within India who are looking to visit Kerala on cheaper and affordable rates.

According to the official site:

Jet2Kerala is an innovative joint promotion to make Kerala, renowned as God’s Own Country, more accessible to holidayers through holiday packages at never-before rates including highly discounted two way airfares on Jet Airways to the three gateway cities of Trivandrum, Cochin and Calicut from anywhere in India.

With this deal you can get a packaged deal which has everything from your flight tickets, pickup and drop at airports, sightseeing and staying in luxurious hotels in a single bindle. This will not only remove all your travel related headaches and it will be more affordable than paying for these individually.

The online wing of Kerala Govt. has come out with innovative strategies like a twitter contest and free giveaways to publize the offering online using social media channels.  Hats off to Kerala Tourism!

It is the best. Take my word for it! I have been searching for a good twitter client since ages now and this is the only one which works well and does not leave you hanging when the need comes. Twikini is the best twitter client for windows. The best part about twikini is that its simple. You got tweets and thats about it. Everything you expect on a standard twitter client is there on Twikini, but the way the interface is done is what got my attention.

If you ask me for a few suggestions to improve this already stable software, they would be:

• Sound Alerts for new tweets
• Tab the updates, @replies and direct for easy navigation.
• Explain the icon? I never understod what the fish in bowl has to do with twitter!
